  • chevron_rightHow do I register for an online account with Creative Management?
    1. Go to the CMCTX website: https://www.cmctx.com/.
    2. Click on Login.
    3. Select “Set Up a New Login”.  You will need your account number which can be found on your HOA Fee coupons.  Or you can call Creative Management (713-772-4420) to obtain your account number.
  • chevron_rightHow do I submit a Work Order for my condo?
You can submit a work order in one of three ways.  They are listed in order of preference.
    1. Login to Creative Management Company’s website as a homeowner https://www.cmctx.com/Homeowner_Login.  This is the best way to submit because it allows you to track the work order.                                                                                                                                    OR
    2. Send an email to workorders@cmctx.com.  You will not be able to track a work order submitted this way, so it is recommended that you follow up with Creative.                                                      OR
    3. Call Creative Management at 713-772-4420 and ask to submit a work order for The Weslayan Condominiums.  Again, you will not be able to track a work order submitted this way, so it is recommended that you follow up with Creative.

Be aware, that even though a contractor you have hired for repair of any kind may tell you that the work you have hired them to do is the HOA’s responsibility, that does NOT mean that it IS the HOA’s responsibility.  Each HOA’s By-Laws and Rules and Regulations are different, so to be safe it is always a good idea to contact our management company to determine whether the repair responsibility is yours as the owner or the HOA’s.
  • chevron_rightHow do I submit a Work Order for a Common Area?
The best way to submit a work order for a Common Area is to send an email to workorders@cmctx.com.  If you are not sure what the Common Areas are, please see the FAQ "What are our Common Areas?"
  • chevron_rightWhat should I do if I need a repair to my condo?
If it is an emergency, such as a water leak that cannot be stopped, please contact Creative Management Company at 713.772.4420.  Our property manager is Kyle D'Souza.  Please note that Creative will dispatch emergency repair personnel and if the cause of the necessary repair is not a "common area", the home owner will be invoiced for the repair.
If it is not an emergency, but the source of the necessary repair is in or about a common area, please submit a work order (see How do I submit a Work Order?).
  • chevron_rightWhat are our Common Areas?
The Common Areas are generally anything outside the interior of your condo.  Areas such as the Atriums, Elevators, Elevator Lobbies, Garage, Roofs, Pedestrian and Vehicle Entrances.  If you are not sure, please contact Creative Management at 713.772.4420.
  • chevron_rightFlood & Storm Information from one of your Neighbors
    Hi neighbors,

There are likely some of you new to the property and if you are, you may want to know about flooding in the neighborhood. More importantly, our garage has flooded a couple of times in the last 20 or so years. I know I am grateful for the wonderful neighbors in my building who intentionally look out for their neighbors. I’ve had more than one knock on my door to say: it looks like the garage is going to flood. Maybe you should move your car.

I usually move my car to where many of us park, over in the Post Office parking lot behind Petco. No flooding there ever, not even Harvey.

    FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT INFORMATION

For me personally, the most important site is one I joined (free) as a member to receive text and email warnings when the rain falls so fast and for enough time that Brays Bayou begins to fill up. Check this out:
Bayou Flood Gauge - Residents can track water levels in creeks and bayous around the greater Houston area, not restricted to Harris County. The waterways are equipped with dozens of sensors that are capable of tracking water levels in near-real time.

How to check bayou levels in Harris County during heavy rainfall
To understand more about how fast and how easily Houston floods and how it the water fills the streets and the bayous, here is a website you might want to explore. It is a good resource for all of us at The Weslayan.

ABC13's Ted Oberg’s video shows you how you can check bayou levels:
ABC13.com Video on how to check bayou levels

There are several other links on that site to provide additional information, including a place to learn which roads are the most dangerous when the area has heavy rains and flash flood warnings.

The links are interactive an have great viewing tools for increasing/decreasing the sizes to fit your screen better. I don’t find it helpful on an iPhone, for example, so I use my laptop.

How to check traffic on the freeways anytime:
Houston TranStar app (free) for smart phones will display live footage for freeways to give drivers a view of congestion. It’s truly helpful if you drive to work most days.
